Mirzet & Sammie Alijagic

Sammie and Mirzet Alijagic disclose that they have "enough spunk
and spark to use [their] talents to publish, paint, write, and perform thanks to
espresso and cable tv." Trained as graphic designers, Sammie has also studied
screenprint and etching processes as purely abstract art forms. When the “Ponies
del Pueblo” project came along, it was "only natural" for them to express the
energy they felt in horses in an abstract manner. Their arts home is in Muse,
Tucson’s Home for the Arts.
