La Doņa

Maria Felix spent her early childhood with her grandparents in
Alamos, Sonora, Mexico. Maria was part of the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema
[1940s] that gave her much international success, particularly in France. It was
in France where she kept a stable for race horses, some of them champions. Many
artists, including Diego Rivera, have paid tribute to Maria Felix during her
lifetime. As a fourth generation Felix paternally, I pay homage as well to La
Doņa, Maria Felix. Juan A. Enriquez Felix
